CANON - project rationale

 Pitch presentation 

 

I created my pitch on PowerPoint and the first slide just is to show that this is a pitch presentation and what the pitch presentation is about which is canon.



 

The next slide just shows the campaign and what I’m doing for this campaign and that I have to promote the new canon camera this can be done by creating a magazine cover or poster or an advertorial but the easy way and more fun way to do so would probably be a magazine cover using adobe photoshop 2022.


 

Next slide is the client research this is to show what I learned from researching canon I knew they started in Japan and are now a world wide corporation that are very successful and now mainly focus on producing there cameras this is to get more attention from the younger side since these message is to show younger people how to be creative but most of all it was important to me to research them as it gives me an understanding of how to promote canon well.


 

For this slide is the audience research which shows I created a survey and collected the responses this is to just show me what other people think of canon and give me ideas and I asked them if they fined canon motivational for them or not and most of them said yes.


 

And then finally this slide is to just show off what I’m doing which is a magazine cover and that I will do my best to make it look officially like a canon magazine as much as possible.

Canon

Canon.inc is a Japanese company located Ota, Tokyo, they specialize in optical technology such as cameras, medical devices and printers. The company was founded in 1933 by Takeshi Mitarai, Goro Yoshida, Saburo Uchida and Takeo Maeda under the name “Precision Optical Instruments Laboratory”.

 In 1936 the “Kwanon” (Japan's first 35mm focal-plane-shutter camera) camera prototype was developed which they would continue to innovate on over the next 20 years. Shortly after the Kwanon’s development, the company would be renamed to Canon. Canon became a symbol of Japanese technology during the 60’s which perpetuated the idea of Japan being more technologically advanced than other parts of the world.

This will be my front cover for my canon magazine that I edited myself I am proud of this and I did take inspiration off other magazines.

Inspiration


These are some of the magazines that are on canon the magazines show how good the cameras are and there quality they also have free videos to look at on the bottom left these videos will consist of canon and how to be good at using the camera and improving your skills as you can see that one of the magazines showing 101 great canon tips.
they also show different scenery on the magazines for example like autumn canon puts these on there front cover of there magazines to show the quality of how good the canon cameras are. This is all to advertise there company that is the point of these magazines they want to promote how good and efficient they are. Also on the magazines they promote there videos that they made that gives free tips and how to use the camera the right way the free books that you can get from the magazines do cost 18 pound so it is quite expensive to get canon books.

Research into the client    firstly I had to research the client which was the NHS I then researched them I found out they started out in 1948 and that they help people with a range of problems of all ages with any illness or other issues. but for us we have to focuses on the younger side between 14 to 19 so the main focus here must be to stay healthy and fit. HEALTH - Investigation and Analysis

 Investigation and Analysis Change 4life was one of the campaigns that was with NHS the change 4life campaign provided support with expectant parents, children and young aged 0-19 (or 25yrs for young people with special educational needs or disabilities) and their families to eat well and stay active. They later joined another campaign that also supported the NHS know as Better Health. The change 4life first launched in 2009 it was shown on tv and radios across the UK motivating and supporting many people to listen and eat well and be active. ​ Better Health is another campaign that is with the NHS also apart of change 4life as they joined Better Health. CANON - Evaluation

  Canon client research   Canon is a multinational corporation it was founded in japan in 1937 in Tokyo in the city of ota it is a very successful business as its been around for quite sometime. They produce a wide range of imaging products from printers and MRI machines but its probably best know for its popular selection of cameras and lenses canon has a long history of producing high quality cameras and lenses which is why many professionals favour them today. canon is very successful as of the 10th of February they have a solid net worth of 23.05B The cameras that they use are very high quality this means most of them are very expensive so much most of the best ones costing 1 to 3 grand while the cheapest ones costing 200 or 300 pounds.
