Pitch presentation  

this is the first slide of the PowerPoint of the pitch presentation. This first slide shows the campaign and explains what I am doing and why I am doing it. It explains that the NHS has asked me to deliver them the promotion they need for the better health campaign. I also said that I will do this by looking into the client the NHS and looking into there previous campaigns.



The second slide I go into who the client is and what they do and why. First I go into who they are and what NHS stands for then I mention when they were first established and why I mentioned that they helped all class of ages and that they tried to help with any medical problems that they could. I also mentioned later down the line the NHS started many new campaigns such as change4life campaign which started in the early 2000s showing many adverts about how to eat healthy and it was mainly for children as they were clearly aimed at kids since it was clay animation. Also later on change4life disappeared and changed into better health campaign which describes many campaigns like smoking, eating healthy and fitness.


The third slide I go into more detail on the NHS previous campaigns like the better health campaign that was introduced after change4life and better health introduced way more print campaigns and more medical problems so its different from change4life as that was just about healthy eating and living longer. while the better health has a range of campaigns including a more wide range of audience including the elder people who might have some of these problems as usual medical problems happen at a more older age.


The fourth slide shows that I have asked my audience a range of questions related to this campaign question that relate to fitness and staying healthy including smoking or going to the gym the results that I got back were more on the side of positive there were more people who went to the gym who didn't and more people who thought that they had a healthy lifestyle so overall a lot of positive feedback.


  
And the fifth and final slide shows that what I am doing so I have decided to choose to make a TV advert because I feel like its appropriated for the NHS and better health campaign because you don't see much of any better health adverts there is usually more print adverts which is just like a poster or flyer so it would be different to make an actual advert on this and also have a story behind it so yeah that is what I am doing.  





I have also edited and added the slides in on premiere pro this is so you can see what I'm reading and is edited in time with my speaking I have also edited out any mistakes that might have been in the audio the best that I could and I have asked questions at the end of the pitch just so that I have a audience feedback from the pitch presentation so I know what I need to improve on and what I need to think about.

I did have and idea of producing a script for my tv advert I might do a print advert but still show my ideas from the tv advert.


Client NHS



Change 4life was one of the campaigns that was with NHS the change 4life campaign provided support with expectant parents, children and young aged 0-19 (or 25yrs for young people with special educational needs or disabilities) and their families to eat well and stay active. They later joined another campaign that also supported the NHS know as Better Health. The change 4life first launched in 2009 it was shown on tv and radios across the UK motivating and supporting many people to listen and eat well and be active.

​ Better Health is another campaign that is with the NHS also apart of change 4life as they joined Better Health. Better Health webpage provides tools to help people improve their health and mental wellbeing including weight loss NHS 12-week weight loss plan app. Better Health also advertises many campaigns including weight, smoking and healthy eating they also sponsor the NHS as they work together, and you can see this in the top corner of the advertisement as it has the NHS logo. In 2020 there was many campaigns against covid-19 it was to keep the NHS safe.

​ As we can see that better health has many campaigns into a range of things like losing weight, getting active, quitting smoking and drinking less. The NHS also provides its customers with ways to kickstart there health so they can deal with the problems they have and easily work their way up to make their life better. This shows that there still is a growing problem in health since there is so many ways to help it. The most growing problem and the worst of them all is smoking this is mainly because that amount of lives it affects the statistics just say it all that tobacco kills 8 million per year while 7 million is the result of direct tobacco. This research has helped me realize how important the NHS and Better Health campaign is to so many people.

​ There are many campaigns and existing products but the best example of this is change4life which is meant all audiences they used to run many adverts across the UK with very good animation called Claymation where you use clay and use it to create the characters and the set behind them some of the set will be 3D animated but mostly clay then you would lower the camera to be level with the set then you would create the shot frame by frame with each still shot being a second you will have to position each of the character just right each shot then when it's done it will look normal and the clay will move like normal and quickly.​


Target audience

The the target audience of the campaign is teenagers and young adults between the ages of 16 to 20. I conducted a survey to gather information from the audience of my products to understand concepts that would and wouldn't work and what the audiences likes and dislikes. My survey included questions how much exercise activities they do and for how long if they were active during quarantine and if they wanted to have a routine or not. The responses I received from my survey were varied and gave me insight to what my products could be like. And using the information gathered I will create a audience profile and then use it to create more questions.

radio advert

My idea for a radio advert is the following, a narration of the effects of smoking and how if you stop now it can change your life I will cover in the radio add how it effects family life and I will also add positive music over to give the vibe that the advert is trying to help I will being using adobe audition and premiere pr as these are the best apps to use in making this radio add I will also obviously be getting free downloaded music from such as free sound or maybe from somewhere else.
